The absence of light transforms the space and my relationship with it. This fact, that I often forget, becomes special when I slilghtly know the environment. References change and I hardly recognize those signs that, during the day, offer me the illusion of knowing where I am. Suddenly, in a few minutes, when the sun hides, a new reality emerges and those same places seem to be just invented. African night captivated me from the very beggining. It did not take long to understand that in Africa the night is much darker: electricity arrives to a few places and cuts are frequent... Electricity is a luxurious good enjoyed by a minority but life does not stop...
